Our today’s post is Create Simple Christmas Flyer Photoshop Tutorial which is an absolutely easy and doable tutorial to make a sale flyer for Christmas. Step # 1

Open a document in Photoshop. I have taken the dimensions of a standard flyer size i.e. 8.5 x 11 inches. Give the background crimson color of Christmas as I have gives it 980f1c color.

Step # 2

Now place a boundary ribbon along the left and right side of the page. I have taken this boundary ribbon from FreebieVectors. You can take it from any other source as well.

Step # 3

Now select the Rectangle Tool with color Black and draw a rectangle on lower right side of the page. As soon as you finish drawing the rectangle, go to the layers panel and Duplicate the rectangle layer and make it invisible for time being.

Step # 4

Keeping the duplicated rectangle invisible, go to the first drawn rectangle and give it a color. I have given it b7c63d as you can see below.

This is how it is going to look like…

Step # 5

Now we are going to give this rectangle a white boundary. Go to Edit > Stroke, and put details in it as mentioned in the following figure. I have kept the width of the stroke to 8 px, you can increase or decrease it according to your own desire.

This is how it is going to look like…

Step # 6

Now go to the layers panel and make the duplicated rectangle layer visible. Once it is visible, go to Move Tool and move it a little downwards as I have done in the image below.

Step # 7

With duplicated rectangle layer selected, go to Edit > Free Transform.

Step # 8

Once Free Transform has been selected, look at the upper right corner of the page and select Switch Between Free Transform and Wrap Modes option as shown in the image below.

The result will look something like this…

Step # 9

Once the shape of duplicated rectangle has been changed, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and keep its radius 10. It will create a nice shadow of the green box effect.

The effect will make the duplicated rectangle look like this…

Step # 10

Now once again I would refer to FreebieVectors from where you can download and import the Christmas tree I have used in this design. Place it over the rectangle and its shadow and by using the Move Tool, tilt it a bit.

Step # 11

Now select the Type Tool and write whatever text you want to place on your flyer. You can enhance the text by putting some Layer Styles.

This the final result of our Christmas flyer. I hope you like the tutorial and would experience it in your own way. To get the PSD file of this tutorial, just go to the link here and download!
